Weaselhead and Upcoming Events

We had a great first field trip of the year to Weaselhead Park. Students looked at the seasonal changes and looked for signs of animals. Students captured their discoveries through sketching and with photos as we practiced some micro and macro photographs on the ipad. We compared the view from the ridge to the view of Ottawa that Ms. Fraser had from a plane and noticed differences and similarities.
When we returned to the school, we viewed and discussed all the pictured that the classes had taken. Mrs. Pittman's class saw a little owl! Students sketched and labelled some memories and discoveries from the day.

Reminders:
Monday is our rescheduled field trip to Hull's Wood. We need a few more volunteers for this to meet our required ratios and be able to go. Please email Mrs. Fraser or Mrs. Pittman if you are able to attend. It is from 9-12:15.

Wednesday October 23 is picture retake day.
Thursday October 24 is fun lunch.
